Designs and operationalizes SRE dashboards that surface reliability, latency, error, saturation, and capacity signals across services. Written for teams running production systems who need to detect and triage incidents. sre-dashboards is published by sickn33 on GitHub.

About sre-dashboards
This skill guides the design of SRE dashboards in three layers: an executive reliability view, a service health view, and a deep-dive view. Each layer is meant to answer questions such as whether customers are impacted, what changed, and where the bottleneck is. It covers golden signal panels for latency, traffic, errors, and saturation, plus SLO panels with error-budget remaining and multi-window burn-rate alerts.
The skill includes example PromQL queries for error rate, p95 latency by route, and burn rate for a 99.9% availability SLO. It also covers change correlation with deployment markers and feature flag overlays, operational guidelines such as consistent color semantics and explicit units, and troubleshooting tips for flat panels and high cardinality. It assumes a metrics pipeline such as Prometheus or OpenTelemetry and an agreed service taxonomy. It is written for SRE and DevOps teams. The package is docs-only, and helper scripts and templates are not bundled.

What sre-dashboards can do
- Layered dashboard architectureStructures dashboards into executive, service health, and deep-dive views.
- Golden signals panelsCovers latency, traffic, errors, and saturation panels for services.
- SLO and burn-rate panelsShows SLI windows, error-budget remaining, and multi-window burn alerts.
- Change correlationAdds deployment markers, config annotations, and feature flag overlays.
- PromQL snippetsProvides example queries for error rate, p95 latency, and burn rate.
- Dashboard troubleshootingGives fixes for empty panels and high cardinality slowdowns.
What you need
- Metrics pipeline such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or a vendor equivalent
- Logs and traces linked to services and environments
- Agreed service taxonomy (team, service, tier, environment)
- Platform CLIs such as kubectl, helm, terraform, and git
- Authorized access to the target environment

Try asking
- Design a three-layer SRE dashboard for my checkout service
- Write a PromQL burn-rate query for a 99.9% availability SLO
- Suggest golden signal panels for my API with p95 latency by route
Good to know
- Docs-only import. Helper scripts and templates are not bundled.
- Confirm target, blast radius, and rollback plan before applying anything.
- Never deploy to production without explicit approval.

Install and operate a full GitHub issue-to-merge workflow for any repository using event-driven and cron missions. Handles issue planning, PR monitoring, CI fixing, staging review, and post-merge learning.
Comprehensive DevOps skill for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, containerization, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Includes pipeline setup, infrastructure as code, deployment automation, and monitoring. Use when setting up pipelines, deploying applications, managing infrastructure, implementing monitoring, or optimizing deployment processes.
Guides the assistant through designing, debugging and hardening GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows. It is aimed at teams that run production pipelines on GitHub.
Validate a commit-specific Next.js preview package and manually trigger the entire Next.js deployment test suite through the test_e2e_deploy_release.yml GitHub Actions workflow. Use only when asked to run the full deploy test suite or this workflow specifically from an internal vercel/next.js PR branch. Do not use for focused deployment-test sanity checks; run the relevant tests locally with pnpm test-deploy instead. Covers resolving the latest branch SHA, waiting for vercel-packages, preserving default workflow inputs, dispatching the workflow, and verifying the run.
Operates Amazon Kinesis Data Streams (KDS). Covers streaming tables and Amazon S3 delivery - serverless, fully managed delivery from a KDS stream to Apache Iceberg tables on S3 Tables or to general-purpose S3 buckets. Includes channel setup, IAM, schemas, output key templates, CloudWatch metrics and alarms, DLQ handling, quotas, and troubleshooting. For all other KDS topics and questions, search AWS documentation and blogs instead.
