About instagram-upload
This skill runs the sau CLI to publish content to Instagram through a separate web session. It uses an engineering Patchright Chrome browser rather than the Business Suite entry point. The browser is visible by default, and the user enters passwords and verification codes in that browser. Commands cover login, account checks, uploading videos or Reels with an optional cover image, and publishing single photos or carousels.
The skill also records results in a file and handles uncertain outcomes carefully. A post is reported as published only when the platform confirms it was created. Verification checks the original post before any deletion, and deleted posts go to Recently Deleted. The source says the skill is for users who want scripted, immediate Instagram publishing and cleanup from their own machine.

Does this skill schedule Instagram posts?
No. The source says the current standalone web flow has no scheduling option, and the CLI publishes immediately only.
What happens if an Instagram upload result is unknown?
The source says a submission_unknown result must not be treated as published or resubmitted. The user should look for the original post in the account and run verify with its link.
Are my local video or photo files deleted when a post is removed?
No. The source states that the delete command moves the Instagram post to Recently Deleted and local media files are not deleted.
